Long story short I have tried a lot of different mag pouches looking for one I could edc (glock 17 mag).
Here are just a few and the ones I really like but didn't work out for one reason or another:
Kytex (still have two for range use, absolutely love them for that)
JM (was the appendix one, didn't work with my body)
Raven Concealment (to wide for what it was but awesome quality)
Bravo Concealment (same as the raven)
*All of these were great but I just couldn't conceal them on my body type. This is where the ares armor mag pouch came into its own for me. It looked just like a raven or bravo pouch but smaller and more streamlined. I am glad I was right and I have been really impressed with it so far.
What I have noticed so far:
-good retention, much like the raven
-the small size means it doesn't print
-the mag pouch rests high on the belt which means I can get away with shirts that don't drape.
-seems well belt and the quality is obvious.
I am not affiliated with the company and just wanted to give people another option if they are looking for an edc mag pouch.
