Organ trafficking is increasingly common. While the credible medical types would have to correct me, I believe there's a lot that can be salvaged from eyes.
In some poor-as-dirt countries, the mafia/cartel/triad/whatever have actually set up clinics where you can donate a kidney for money. Big business in China, as a lot of organs are salvaged from deceased inmates there, but since inmates usually have some sort of disease, people that can afford it are willing to pay big bucks for primo body parts.
