    Interesting Malfunction

My girlfriend's Marlin .22 had an unusual malfunction today that I thought I'd share. It took a pair of pliers to remove, and obviously due to the position of the spent shell I was very careful not to let the bolt come forward onto the round at any point. Once the offending shell was removed, the rifle went through two more magazines without issue. Enjoy!

Doesn't seem too unusual for the Marlin Model 60. I fondly remember ammunition trying to reenact their own version of Cirque-du Soleil in the Marlin Model 60.
