Victory over that #@&&* decocker spring - I took Storm’s advice and had my wife squeeze the assembly while I tapped the pin into place. The slightly too small slave pin (1/16”) must have been allowing the right lever to lift just enough to allow the outer loop of the spring to slip out of place.
I’m still going to replace the pin and spring. The pin looks like a rabid beaver took it for a date and if the spring was pinched a few times I don’t know that I trust it long term, but at least the pistol is functional again.

I took advantage of a long boring meeting to install a spurless hammer and LTT trigger bar. Now *that’s* the DA I wanted.
