My wife and I discussed that, when we were looking at pictures, but think it is just a bit of color. If it were a collar, they grow so fast at that age, I think it would strangle the little guy.
There was a largish boar grizzly on the other side of the lake, which would be a problem for a sow with cubs, as they will kill the cubs to cause mom to go into heat sooner. We wonder if the boar was a new entrant, or they had lakeshore divided up.

I've been thinking of doing something similar... with some mags the kytex pouches tend to angle the mags into my body too much.
