Its a pretty interesting blade. I am not a fan of the edge design but it works well as a large neck knife or utility blade. Plus its cheap so you aren't worried about breaking it.

I don't use it as a neck knife, though its probably pretty easy to do, the sheath is pretty sturdy for what it is (plastic) but the blade is large for me to carry in that capacity, though its probably worth doing.
I carry it with the paracord looped between my belt, mexican carry.
Edit; just to add, I think that if you cut it down some what, add a finger-groove, blade side for orientation and get a clip on a kydex clip it would be a pretty good challenger to the cold steel spike
