Several dogs thru out the years have adopted it. I have a replacement but just not the same.

That looks like a very handy carry revolver! Can you share the work done to it? I'm trying to find a 3" K frame that I can afford, but possibly I should spend some time considering the SP and GP Rugers.

I’ve done very little to it. It was kinda an impulse buy at the time, local big box farm store was running a special. Come to turn out likely one of the best gun purchases I ever made. It’s a Wiley Clapp that has a factory brass bead and Novak rear. The only thing I’ve done to it, besides replacement stocks (first was G10 which stung, settled on the Pach boot grips) was add a shim kit to it. IIRC, that was about 10 bucks. It is a bit heavy, but it’s really not noticeable to me on a daily carry basis. I’ve thought about getting a lighter weight S&W at times, but run out of reasons pretty quick. One of the few guns the wife enjoys shooting too. If she ever gets her CCW, it’ll be hers. In the meantime it sits in the nightstand when it’s not in my belt. I don’t even think the holster is for the gun. It might be for a G26 long since gone. It works though, very comfy. I also have a CarryLite shoulder rig I’ve used for long drives and a Galco OWB and matching belt that I picked up for a BBQ. (No joke.) It’s been the gun of choice for both my CPL initial classes as well as associated requals. Always get odd looks like I’m showing up with a flintlock. Lol

I have literally nothing bad to say about it.

Thanks for the quick reply. I didn't realize it was a Wiley Clapp model and great...now I have another gun to lust after.

I'm new so I'll just keep this short... I'll need to learn my way around the interface.

Today I was mostly working around the world headquarters and performing my duties as servant to wayward children and the pound rescue (who thinks he is a fellow sibling of my wayward girls) Henry the Happy Hound. Henry pretty much was napping on the couch when not demanding snacks from Craig, our faithful UPS guy.

So bearing in mind the danger levels of the environment, I chose to roll with the faithful old 442 J Frame. Not pictured is my almost as well worn box cutter that sees almost daily use.

I lead a seriously dangerous life these days..

Saw that the hammer on my edc 1911 was rusting and figured I’d take it apart to sand off the rust. Well I guess I haven’t checked in a while cause there was rust everywhere. No biggie, that’s what hard chrome is for.

I don't like making plans for the day, because words like "premeditated" get thrown around the courtroom.
