I knew there was a reason I stopped reading BI. One, is even when socialists ruin something, they blame it on conservative values when it was radically socialist Greece borrowing from socialist Germany. Two, they rarely offer anything but the obvious or dumb as solutions. Three, Henry was banned from the public markets over security fraud, so his "information" is pretty shitty/speculative (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Blodget). Not that other people/inforags don't have an agenda

I'd like to hear any recommendations for good news sources regarding Greece, and anything else for that matter.

Depends on the kind of news you want.

In my opinion "good news sources" are almost extinct. I live my news world by reading CNN (World NOT US), Fox News, BBC, Al-Jazeera, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and by checking for live feed updates on social media (Twitter, Instagram, trending tags on the Book of Faces, and Reddit).

The fastest most accurate news updates in the world are via social media, full stop. If I am particularly interested in a story, I will follow it across multiple media outlets. The key is to recognize the political slants of your sources. CNN, BBC and NYT are all slanted liberally to the left. Fox, Al-Jazeera, and WSJ are all slanted towards the right. The other outlet that is usually quite good in terms of balance is the Christian Science Monitor.

What Rob said. Accurate news is dead, but information is spreading like a fungus.

It can, but we're not in the same boat as Greece. Most of our "debt" is too ourselves. About 2/3 of US gov't debt is owed to...the US gov't. Plus a lot of global currencies and markets are tied to the dollar. Just like the banking crisis, little fish go bankrupt...big fish get propped up because they'll take the whole pond down with him.

Well, if the Morongo Indians don't buy Colt, maybe they can buy Greece.......;-).

I am just waiting for Putin to ride in an rescue Greece......and then own them too.

Especially if he decides to use them as a strategic port...and just generally piss off the rest of Europe.
