    Holy crap. $440 a case for 9mm 124...wowsers. I guess somebody forgot to remind me the Election is in a hundred days or so. When I left on my trip, I thought, yeah, I'll need to snag a case or two when I get back for this winter's matches...surely it will be just a littler higher than normal $200 a case or so...EEK.

    Look into picking up a press (Hornady Lock n Load AP or Dillon 550, 650, or 750) and start cruising for components - it makes it way easier to weather the times when it's tough to buy ammo, and it'll save you money over the long term regardless. From your posting history, I'm 99.9% sure you're detail-oriented enough to load your own safely and get good results. (I load my own 124 grain 9mm for ~$100-110/case.)
