FYI - Speer and Federal are both running rebates again. Maximum $50 rebate, it's $5/box for a max of 10-boxes, min of 2 boxes. Unfortunately, it is only good for the 20-round boxes of Gold Dot, Hydra-Shok, or HST.

Target Sports USA has Gold Dot for $11.99/20 for 124-grain +P, and $12.99/20 for 115, 124, and 147 grain standard pressure varieties.

The math works out to ~0.35/round for 124-grain +P and ~0.40/round for 115/124/147 varieties. That's still cheaper than buying in the 50-round boxes. TSU has 115/124/147 50-round boxes for 0.46/round. SGAmmo has 50-round boxes for 0.60/round.

HST is more expensive from TSU at $15.99/20 which comes out to 0.55/round and thus only saves 0.05/round over the 50-round box price from SGAmmo (0.60/round). That may not be worth it in the long run, depends on whether or not you're paying for shipping.

Speaking of, TSU is running free shipping on orders that contain bulk-ammo orders. I picked up 500 rounds of 150-grain Syntech for $119 and got 200 rounds of 147-grain Gold Dot shipped for free.

$210 a case of 500 at TS USA, 193 if you have their prime membership. Hard to beat that.

Target charges me sales tax, YMMV. Not quite the 50% off they claim but the cheapest I've seen in a while. Some examples per case of 1000 shipped:

    9mm 124gr standard pressure P9HST1 $399.90
    9mm 147gr P9HST2 $399.90
    9mm 124gr +P P9HST3 $399.90

    40 S&W 180gr P40HST1 $449.90

    45 ACP 230gr P45HST2 $499.90
TSUSA is advertising this same deal this month. 9/40/45 HST for 400/450/500 resp. per thousand shipped plus possible taxes. Must add to cart to see discounted price.

I submitted a rebate for the 50rd HST boxes I bought during Target Sports' big sale last month. They approved it in 7 days (fastest rebate approval I've ever gotten from them, though I'm sure it'll take at least a few weeks ago for them to mail it). Maybe I just got lucky!

Just a heads up on Vista Outdoors rebate submissions. Unlike the previous ten or twelve rebate submissions I've done with them, they now require an image of the packing slip.

When using an order confirmation as your proof a purchase, a picture of the packing slip MUST also be included. Consumers who fail to upload both their order confirmation AND packing slip will be unqualified.
I don't know. Maybe people were taking photos of ammo they already had, or taking photos of ammo they hadn't purchased in a store, or pulling empty boxes out of the trash at the range, and using it to submit after placing an online order, printing out the receipt, and then immediately canceling it. You could make a few bucks in little enough time that even a criminal might expend the effort to do that, I guess.

Does that mean that they're getting out of the ammo business as well? Nice sale for those needing more HST.
There's nothing civil about this war.

Well, I don't need it, but I'm getting a couple of boxes because reasons.

Interesting that .45, .40 and 9mm are all the same price.
