I had a case if CCI 3578 (124gr aluminum cased) I picked up in the 12's during the great ammo crunch. It shot OK out of my P30. I felt it was less accurate than CCI 5201 (124gr brass cased) and the ejection pattern was less consistent. It ran in the gun, but if I had my choice I'd stick with the brass cousin, unless the aluminum was stupid cheap.

Came out to ~$0.17/rd shipped with the discount. The photo shows their own head stamp, but the actual brass is mixed headstamp.

Out of the GP MC, it's slightly more dramatic than a .22LR.

The Federal rebate for American Eagle is still going on under the name Summer Savings. The flier states there is a max of $200/household for the rebate. The website where you submit your rebate says its a max of $50/household. I contacted Federal and the response I received said the $200 amount is correct.

The H7L code for Brownell's still works. I just placed an order. I added an orange chamber flag for $2 to bring me over $200 and activate the code. I paid $181.95 for the case of American Eagle. After I submit the rebate for that ammo, the cost will be about $135 for the case.

I’m going to wait until my first Brownells order ships and then I’m going to try placing another order using that code. I already ordered a case from Palmetto State Armory and submitted the rebate for that this morning so I’m probably going to try for a total of three from Brownells. $135 for a case of decent brass cases ammo is a ridiculous deal.
