My little heart is all a-twitter. But why does it pine so hard for a .41 Magnum option?

Could you use .45 win mag on moon clips in this? The case lengths look almost identical to .45 Colt.
It would fit in the cylinder, and there have been blackhawk conversions to .45 win mag, so my inclination is to say that it is doable. I wouldn't try it myself though. It can't do anything a hot 45 colt load won't do, and the 45 win mag is a really high pressure cartridge.
These are starting to hit gunbroker if anyone is interested. Going price seems to be right at $800 so far.
I hope to have my grubby little mitts on one within the week.
Holster recommendations? How do folks normally carry moon clips for EDC/non-competition gear?

$789, no shipping fee.
I figured $800 or so would be the real street price on these.
I would have had one today, but the distributor screwed my LGS. They told me they had one coming in Friday (last week) or Tuesday (today) so despite it being a bit more than online I was willing to do business local. They called me at 4pm that it was checked in. At 4:30 I was at the counter. The gun was dirty. It had obviously been fired several times, not just a factory firing, and with filthy ammo. Each chamber in the cylinder was full of soot. I could probably deal with that...but they broke it. The rear sight was broken and missing the right half. It wasn't in the box, either, so definitely not some fluke shipping damage. Their wholesaler broke it, and apparently didn't want to admit it to the boss so they just boxed it up and sent it off. They don't know when they can get a new one, so I guess I'm going online.
I did get to handle it, though. It's a clean looking gun. There is no warning billboard engraved on the barrel, just a small 'see manual' on the underside of the half lug. The trigger seemed heavy compared to my Match Champion. Since the sights were broken I couldn't tell how much daylight you get. The grip felt fine.
This review unequivocally states this .45 can handle the .45 Colt +P range and fit the long cast bullets in the cylinder. http://gunblast.com/Ruger-RH45ACP.htm

I ordered one today since the LGS has no idea when they'll get a replacement, so just waiting for it to land at the LGS for transfer.
