I have been able to handle one of these on an SBR but never had the opportunity to shoot one.
Has anyone had any experience? Comfortable? Reliability? Etc?

I'm in the same boat as you. I've handled a few but never shot one. Curious to see how well it works.
Not sure if it was the same maker, but I've shot those types of stocks. They're ok. That one says it weighs 2 pounds! No thanks.
Cmt just came out with one as well, looks good.

From the website
"The CCS comes as a complete drop-in unit containing stock, stock adapter, buffer tube, spring and modified full auto bolt carrier/buffer. The CCS is compatible with most mil spec AR-15’s. Collapsed Length is 4.5”. Extended Length is 8.5”. Weight is 2 pounds."
Factory AR parts; ~9oz buffer tube and spring ~10oz basic magpul stock bolt carrier~11oz castle nut~2oz. All figures are ruff and I honestly don't know what factory stuff is but I know that's close. So I say it's not that bad..
That would be much better. I didn't read very far.
It looks like Rainier is taking pre-orders on the CMT

Check out the MVB. A better option in my opinion.
