Practical? Nah. But what metal-frame gun is these days? The P225, much like the P220, hits a sweet spot in ergonomics for a lot of folks. It's an easy gun to shoot well. The 239 is a touch too small and squared off on the front strap. The P225 was more prone to feeding trouble and magazine issues than other classic Sigs (also like the P220). I hope they update the magazines along with the slide.
We need a "shoot-off/out" between the P225, S&W 3913 and the single stack compact Beretta 92.
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.
