What's the Best Shot You've Ever Witnessed?

I was standing on the edge of a plateau with some friends when I was younger when a buzzard started circling above us. I had a Colt Commander and told them I was going to shoot it (I know, I know). Buzzard was flying about 50 feet above us and I was tracking it with my sights, put it a hair in front of it and fired the shot. It made a loud smack sound, feathers flew, and the buzzard fell all the way down to the ground about 300 feet below us. I have witnesses!

PS I know there's a whole bunch of dumb in this story and all I can say is that I've learned since then.

The best shot I ever made was actually with a rifle ( I know, wrong forum)!
My excuse is I held it one handed so it's a long handgun!
I shot a rat dead center head shot through a 1" crack in the rafters of our barn at night with a 3-9x scope equipped Rem 597 at 10 ft holding the rifle with my right hand and a flashlight in my left. I had to guess the hold over since you couldn't see F all with a 3-9 scope at that range.
