January 1 of this year I only owned a G19.2. Not pictured is my chopped G19.2 Frankengun, it’s waiting on a few parts that I cannibalized to finish my Roland.

Since my PD won’t give me an appointment to ask permission to buy another pistol until mid September, I decided to dig this 19.3 frame from the safe and get it reworked. Now I need literally every other piece to make it into a working unit.

Good looking stipple job. Who did the work?

Edit: 2 other things - need an appointment to approve another pistol? Fuck that. And how old is that truck? Push button favorite stations and a cassette tape? Holy 💩.

A childhood buddy did it for me. Another shop did it first (exactly how i ordered it), but it wasn't what I needed, so he fixed the shape of the backstrap for me

Here, we have to apply, in person, for a "permit to acquire" a handgun. The serial number has to be known, and the pistol has to be at the FFL, or registered to another citizen. Then we have a 14 day wait. Then the permit can be picked up, taken to the FFL, and after filling out the 4473 and taking possession, the pistol has to be brought to the PD for registration within 5 days. FML. The rifle permit process will be even more confusing.

The truck is my daily driver, an '84 K5 Blazer. And country radio does sound way better through that old stereo

Sounds like you need to move from “here” to free America. Love the 80’s Blazers and step side pickups. I miss the 80’s.
