Picked up a blue label G17 Gen 5 MOS - they were only available with the Bold sights. The rear hangs off the back but this is a factory configuration.

This illustrates why I personally won’t buy a MOS...

I bought the MOS to put an optic on it and my preference would have been to buy it with the standard plastic sights since I plan to co-witness sights on it.

Standard Glock night sights, CAPs, Hackathorns, Defoors etc would be fine. I just thought it was interesting Glock was putting this out as a factory combo.

I will shoot it like this today but once the co-witness sights come in the BOLDS will likely go on the 19x.

    Sounds like a plan!

I typically don't get slide bite with my 19 or larger frame guns, but I breaking in a new 26.5 a few days ago and got some serious slide bite when shooting hot defensive ammo. This isn't a gun I intend to carry or shoot very much so it doesn't bother me too much. I am happy that this thing shoots very well for its size, much better than I shoot a G43. Below is a group and a called flyer at 25 yards to end my session.

Ouch. Here’s mine with a G19.4. I was saving this pic for a bloody gadget thread.

Got my slide back from L&M, who was recommended by people here. I think it turned out well.
