Anybody know if these colt lowers require the push pin / offset adapter screw to mate with a BCM upper? I have a colt “sporter” from the 90s and the front take down pin did not match up

No. That was only an issue for the SP / Sporter / Match Target Guns.
Current Colts - basically anything produced after the 1994 AWB expired, (6920’s etc) use the standard upper /lower pins.
Some of the early “post ban” guns like my 2007 ish vintage 6920 still used larger .170 trigger and hammer pins vs the regular .154. Colt finally switched to .154 across the board 7 or 8 years ago.
