    Well, not for everyone. The compact version, in my hand, changes the pointing characteristics, for the worse, and dramatically increases muzzle rise and felt recoil. Dramatically, as in I willingly shoot the stoutest .357 Magnums with the original, more-squared style, and cry “uncle” with anything more than the mildest Magnums with the compact grip. (This was true with both of my hands, pre-Arthur-itis, and remains true with my healthier left hand, today.)

    It is good to have a choice, and I am happy for those who prefer the compact grip.

    Rex, I absolutely agree-a shooting friend of mine had exactly your experience with the Compact grips-he too much prefers the Full GP100 grips. It simply depends on your hand and index. Choices are good.
