Watched an interview this morning with Garland PD Chief (? captain?) who confirmed that both terrorists were taken down by the same officer using his service pistol.

WSJ just reported they were also wearing body armor. Very interested in the details, of what appears a very impressive response by the officer.
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.

I know it's beat to death, but whenever there is a major attack in another country (Charlie Hebdo and the Kenya mall attacks come to mind) they say that there is a reason they don't happen in Texas (or the USA in general). This is why. Great job by the officer.

Sent from my iPhone, I apologize in advance for typos.

He was, apparently, a traffic officer who just happened to be outside when they started shooting. Both suspects had rifles and "body protection".

Outstanding work by the Garland PD. Apparently even their rank-and-file are ninjas?

Some folks have it switched on in their head and others don't. This guy shows you can show up to a gunfight (or rather have one find you), come from behind the curve, dominate, and win, if you've both the will and skill.

Just because I want to know I'm curious about their sidearm and the bullets.
