I use the 5.11 pack for dog walking with a S&W 386. Speed strips are in the side pockets. Biggest gripe is it is pretty much a gun pack with zero place for anything else.

Just a Hairy Special Snowflake supply clerk with no field experience, shooting an Asymetric carbine as a Try Hard. Snarky and easily butt hurt. Favorite animal is the Cape Buffalo....likely indicative of a personality disorder.
"If I had a grandpa, he would look like Delbert Belton".
Chuck, DB, yep, after having the 5.11 for a few days, it sure is small.
If this fanny pack were a Hotel Room, you'd have to step outside to change your mind.
I received my Zaccheus holster from Dale Fricke today. Fit is great. I will spend a bit of time setting this up for the 5.11. I wanted something to cover the trigger guard, and this looks like it will do the trick.
I just read through this thread for my better half who is interested for certain activities, but I am left scratching my head about where to look. The Dale Fricke Zack with the 5.11 Carry Pack seems like a good option, though a bit much for a lady to wear IMO and the black is not a good color either... lighter colors much preferred.
I liked Clusterfrack's idea about the fanny pack with the Crossbreed Ohai modular holster attached with hook and loop to the inside. Seems like this might be the most secure, but I wonder how well it will draw from inside fanny pack.

Hill People Gear is now making a fanny pack based off their runners kit bag.

Never used one, but Spiritus Systems just sent me an email that their fanny pack was back in stock. It's available in a splatter paint color that looks like it's inspired by every cool mom from the 90s.
I'll probably pick one up eventually. Actually, looks like it sold out already. That's usually a sign of quality.

I can't wait to get ahold of one of those Hill People Gear bags.
