Greg Abbott Responds to Jade Helm 15 Paranoia....

...By ordering the Texas National Guard to "monitor" the exercise. Story via Dallas Morning News.

“To address concerns of Texas citizens and ensure that Texas communities remain safe, secure and informed about military procedures occurring in their vicinity, I am directing the Texas State Guard to monitor Operation Jade Helm 15,” Abbott wrote in his letter to the commander of the Texas Guard.

Abbott hedged the suspicion inherent in his message, saying, “The action I take today comes with the recognition of Texas’ long history of supporting our military forces.”
For the governor to be compelled to make the gesture is... disappointing.

Anti-government baloney isn't limited to Ferguson and Baltimore. Alex Jones has a lot to answer for.

Just for clarity... The "State Guard" is not the "Army/Air/Etc. National Guard".
Less training, smaller toys, better license plate .

    Color me disappointed as well.

You're disappointed that a state governor would see prudence in monitoring a situation with a group that he has more direct control over?

I'm pretty sure the Texas state guard don't carry weapons at all, they pay for their own uniforms etc .could be wrong tho

    But unfortunately, tin foil votes.

Only every four years, and then they write in Ron Paul anyway.
    Books. Bikes. Boomsticks.

I can explain it to you. I can’t understand it for you.
