Hope it doesn't suck ass, but at least with the crap Lucas sent our way the last few films it'd be hard to not improve just a little.
It's Star Wars though, so even if it was Christmas Special 2 everyone would line up and dump billions at it.
Cautiously optimistic here, but I'm extremely cynical when it comes to movies. It's either brilliant or kinda crappy

Exactly. It'll do well, but I want Blade Runner good, not Revenge of the Sith level improvements

Whaaaatt the ...... No Jar Jar in the trailer? Me thinky Chewy not as gray as Han.
The have a chance to do great things. The Star Trek reboots were just not good. So far, this looks good.
We had thre strikes with the prequels. It's time for a home run.

I'm conflicted. I have a son who will be 4 this Christmas; a perfect age to introduce him to Star Was. How do I do it? Do I let him watch the first 2 movies (SW and ESB), and try to explain to him that Mr. Lucas started hitting the pipe when he filmed ROTJ and ROTS? How do I explain the Teletubbies / Ewoks and Jar Jar Binks? Do I just skip those abominations and go straight from ESB to the new series?

I like my rifles like my women - short, light, fast, brown, and suppressed.
My daughter is 3 1/2 and Star Wars is her favorite movies . I just limit her to the Original Trilogy .... the way God intended
