    Vertec Slide Source

I'm putting a Langdon Special together. I just acquired a M9A1 and now I'm looking for a Vertec slide. Are there still any sources for nib Vertec slides?

My other option is to buy a new production inox Vertec and sell the frame. What are new frames going for these days? Beretta forum seems to be all over the place.

And sorry for that click bait thread title.

I went that route about a year ago, except I wanted an FS lower for holster compatibility issues. They are really hard to get. I ended up with option #2, purchasing a full Vertec pistol and then trading the frame for 92FS frame.

I heard it may get easier by the end of the year, I wouldn't pay a ridiculous amount for one right now.

If you like some Beretta models that are no longer made, then this year might be a good year for you.

I'm at my computer now, so to elaborate a bit....

There are a lot of tidbits around the internet about Beretta and 2015, this is just one:

Note the mention of the G Vertec.

Makes sense. The M9A3 is just a FDE Vertec G with some slightly different safety/decocker parts.
