Don't worry we know what we are doing We have to prototype before even thinking about production materials. We will keep everyone posted along the way.

Excellent @Mack. I’m very glad to hear you’re interested in a commercial version of the JCP. I’m happy to field test, or help in any way.

    Prototype

Here are some pics of the first round of prototypes. We will try and post updates in this thread throughout the design process. Once the patterns and construction methods are nailed down we will start to experiment with materials and fills. We are also exploring the idea of having multiple profiles, this one features a wedge shape and the other will likely be more pillow like in shape.

    Prototype looks good @Mack. ^^^.

Just to echo what @Clusterfrack said above about fabric, I really appreciate the one I made using lightweight cotton/poly. Mind ends up kind of "folded" around the base of the kydex of the holster down at the bottom. Anything heavier or rougher like cordura or nylon would be rough on the Jimmies. Just sayin'.

But the basic shape / look is just about perfect. FWIW using the fabric I did, I ended up at 10 grams, net weight, as the best / squishiest amount of poly-fil stuffing for mine.

I am down for a couple.

There’s a pun in there and I just don’t feel like apologizing for it.

Will they have a sewn-on patch of hook Velcro on the back?
    If so, I'll need several.
