    CZ Gunsmith services?

    Guys,

Who is currently recommended to do upgrade work on CZ pistols?

I have a student who wants a CZ-75 spiffed up.

    Thanks!

Matt Mink, CZ Custom and Cajun are three I have experience with and can recommend.
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.

David Milam at Cajun Gun Works made my P09 sing. Highly recommend.

Surveillance of friends and acquaintances, as well as personal experience suggest that every CZ tuning shop has both fans and dissatisfied customers.

Mink/AA cannot (or could not when I had mine done) reduce a reset on firing pin block-enabled 75s, if such mod is important.

I personally have only used Cajun Gun Works. I was happy with their service and quality of work. Mike Pannone uses them and the CZ custom shop.

My wife and I both have CZ Custom guns that we are happy with. I have also gotten parts and advice from Cajun Gun Works. I would trust either.

There is a growing number of people who do their own work on CZ's. Lots of videos on line.

I have used both CZ custom and Matt Mink. Both were excellent. I still have the CZ custom gun but I made a poor trade with the Mink gun...

A word of advice. It's pretty easy to get a too light for carry SA trigger on a CZ.

I have a P-01 that I put the CGW Ultra-Lite/SD kit in and the SA trigger came out at 4# with the DA at 7#. Sights of choice and that is all a CZ needs for carry.

    Same here.
Mink and Cajun are closer to Tennessee.
The Short Reset is a bit harder to do. I recommend CZ Custom for that.

I just got an email from FEDEX that my CGW CZ P09 9mm with PRO package plus FO front sight and target rear is in route! I have National Guard duty this weekend so I will have to wait until next week to try it out!
