JodyH have you tried carrying it on the belt? Just curious if a knife that size could be carried concealed that way.

Where on the belt and how? They work well vertical.
    Think for yourself. Question authority.

On the belt like a clinch pick or similar.

It's a little long for that. The blade length works but the handle pokes out.

Depends on the guy. There are some bigger, taller, wider guys that have been carrying Disciples in the Clinch Pick orientation for at least a decade.

    Agreed.

I carry a full size HiTS (7.875″ overall length, per the website) horizontal on the left of my belt buckle with a slight angling downwards (not the Clinch Pick orientation but access is similar) and have no problems with concealment; then again, I'm 6'3".

A question for Mr Douglas, or anyone else. Is a trainer planned for this knife? I am always interested in buying a trainer, if at all possible.

    Thanks very much.

You gotta be quick on TPI when it comes to buying pointy stabby things.
That place likes its taint stabbing utensils and they sell fast, I can't count the number of Ban knives I've missed out on by just minutes.

USPS tracking for my Spyderco shows Friday delivery.

Hmmm. The one I've got up has been languishing. Not that I mind.
