Came across this ammo yesterday, anyone ever try it.

I was thinking about picking some up, but couldn't find any reviews.
    Thanks for you help.

Is this actually FBI contract ammo (RA556B) or some type of copy cat load??

It says the "projectile" is the current FBI issue. Not the load. We know the nosler bullet is GTG but are there any specs on this load? Velocity? Is it crimped and sealed? The price isn't bad...

    Edit:

Nevermind about the velocity, Just saw the spec at the bottom.

Pretty sure their selling point is "same bullet as the FBI uses", it's not FBI issued ammo though.

I understand the bullet is good to go, I guess my question was about the load. I figured this was going to be the answer I got..sucks, it is a really good price

I couldn't get access to the website to see the loading.

Im guessing its a bonded soft point loading to 5.56mm NATO pressure.

If its a copy cat load and as long as its consistent ,sealed & crimped its gtg.

My main HD load for my Carbine is the 5.56mm 50gr TSX loaded by Black Hills.

I only have 2 mags that are loaded with BH 50gr TSX and they are Colt 20rounders with alloy followers.

I buy the cheaper federal fusion 62gr for storage. I hear that the 62gr bonded bullet expands at 1800fps

Webpage is down, you guys broke it.............

If they are using new brass, loading to a good velocity, be that .223 or 5.56 spec, and have crimped primers, it's likely a decent offering. Price is surprisingly low for using a premium bullet.
