This is how Robbie evaluates recoil control. In this instance, he had me fire a full magazine at an IPSC head box at ten yards. He films in slow motion, from the side. Then he plays it back watching everything. He doesn't time it or even care what the splits are. He is looking at the mechanics, which as opposed to time is the important thing. Splits will vary widely based on ability, platform, target size and target distance. YVK is visible messing around in the background.
I trimmed this to just the last few shots, to save the agony of 50 seconds of me in slow motion. Usually problems turn up with your stance/grip as you fire more rounds:
