10 mm Federal 190 gr bonded JHP (XM1003A) is about 925 f/s out of an MP5/10.

I'm surprised its that slow. Slower than our .40 out of a pistol.

I don't get it. What's the point of downloading a 10mm to .40 velocity levels? Seems to defeat the purpose of having a larger case capacity.

Back to simulating bear heads for testing defense loads' ability to bust one; will a slaughterhouse easily part with beeve heads? Seems like a big head is the ideal simulant for a big bear head.

Care to elaborate. From my perspective, internal ballistics, terminal ballistics, and ease of use seem better for the 10mm than a 10.5" AR.

That short bbl isn't doing the 223 any favors. At all. In any way.

The point (circa 1990's) is to make a rd that works in a 10mm MP5:-)
