Jay, would you go into a bit of detail on this if you would? I run a PTR-91 and am interested in this.

I do have said doo-dad on my 11-87 and run a standard VTAC sling on it (all my ARs run VTACs), I just have been slow to be able to figure out the best way to sling my Socom16. Don't know why as the setup works well on the 11-87.

Jay, do you just install a sling mount on the side of the stock?

My suggestion would be an UltiMAK with some type of adapter.

Interesting. I thought the PTR used surplus HK parts on their guns. I had one for a short time that had the wood stock which was definitely surplus of some sort.

Whoa. Going to give mine a visual check to see if I can see anything. Probably one of those things that can't be seen until it happens. Man, now I am so glad Magpul is coming out with a G3 stock soon.
