Basically, some socially responsibly folks want to divest from gun companies. The trustees rejected that as they didn't buy the argument.

Trustees on consciousness driven divestment kicks of any kind are asking for trouble. Before choosing politicking over their fiduciary duties they may want to see if their E&O policies cover intentional breaches. (They do not).
