For what it's worth, (thanks to a generous forum member) I'm trying strong side IWB in good leather (Brommeland) and it's fantastic. However....I did make the crazy suggestion that a guy of Gardone's skinny build try an AIWB built for a.......skinny guyMan, you AIWB people are worse than gluten-free vegan crossfit enthusiasts.
"Well, have you tried...?" Dude, it's an uncomfortable place for me to carry a full-size gun, at least a 1911 or M&P. Period. I used blue guns of both to experiment extensively trying to find a ride height and position where it would be comfortable because, believe me, I am sold on the speed and retention advantages. If I could carry something bigger than a J-frame/PPS there, I'd be rockin' AIWB. But I'd rather have the full-size M&P on the hip than the Shield slightly in front of it.

Not saying it would be a complete nightmare to make holsters for but damn.

I can't figure out if the slide is supposed to be great for cycling with gloves on or is risk management trying to make "Mexican" carry
impossible?
