Depends. There can be a little "figure out the order to shoot fastest" in IDPA, but not nearly to the degree of a proper USPSA match. I still find myself doing visualizations regardless, you just have fewer options on what plan to initially decide upon.

Heh, I would have came in first place if not for all the procedural for speed reloads and not staying behind cover. I got flat out MURDERED in the streets.
