I was actually referring to misses making it out of your dwelling etc etc. Understand, I am a deeply rooted in the 308! If I could only grab a single rifle out of everything I own, it would indeed be my KAC SR25EMC. But in my area where population density is an issue, I think there is merit to dialing back the power a bit to 5.56.

If you plan on missing, then a 5.56 mm is better; .308 is more similar to handguns & 12 ga when penetrating through internal wall construction.

I certainly dont plan on it but Im not foolish enough to believe it couldnt happen.
