Safariland Holster (6378)/CR Speed Belt setup question

Anyone have any experience putting a Safariland holster on a CR Speed Belt?

Background: I snagged a 6378 to run on my USPSA/3-gun/2-gun gamer belt (wanted something with a little more retention than my old Blade-tech holster and have been impressed with the 6378 so far) and the included belt loop isn't working too well on my CR Speed belt. On my everyday "Frequent Flyer" Belt, it threads on no problem. I know I could go to an entire Safariland ELS competition rig, but I don't think I'm competing often enough and at a high enough level to invest that much more into gear.

Any input would be more than welcome here.

I use a standard Safariland UBL on my competition belt, then attach whatever holster I want to use via an QLS fork. The 6378's hole pattern will match up with the standard UBL directly (or via the QLS fork), but it WILL ride 1.5" or so lower b/c of where the holes are located on that particular ("concealment") holster model.

If that's not an issue, you can get the UBL for around $15 if you shop around. The QLS kit runs around $25 IIRC.
