As we come toward the end of 2014 I was wondering what the current consensus on Gen 4 Glocks is? I haven't seen anything negative recently but was wondering what you all have observed.

More than 52,000 through a Gen 4 G17 and zero issues and a total of approximately 100,000 rounds through Gen 4 Glocks with zero issues.
25K thru my primary Gen 4 17. I'd recommended them without hesitation at this point.
The slide lock spring on a circa 2012 19 broke after 3000 rounds or so. Two minute fix, just make sure you get the gen 4 specific one (the wrong spring will work in a pinch just not well).
In theory the coil trigger return spring is now more durable with the gen 4 trigger bar.
Gen4's in 9mm are probably OK.
Gen4's in .40 do not seem to have solved all the Gen3 .40 issues.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'd like to hear from anyone else with experience in the past several months, I found a bunch of other threads but they were all from before summer and seemed for the most part positive but I'm trying to see if the trend has continued in that direction.
Most seem to be running OK, seen a few at one agency that were assembled incorrectly when received from the factory, but the armorers quickly fixed those issues.

I now have more gen 4's than any other generation. All of mine run great and I have lost count of how many G17's and 19's are in my safes right now.
I like my rifles like my women - short, light, fast, brown, and suppressed.
Surf responded in a reply to me on another forum that he's now been part of fielding 1100 Gen 4 G17s successfully with minor issues few and far between.
