It’s also very forgiving if you get behind the jet.
I guess I'll be the outlier. 6000 hours in the 135/140/145, and I cant find anything nice to say about any of them. When the last one goes off to the beer can factory, I won't shed any tears.

Boeing finally got it. I’m also a fan of the Airbus aesthetics. The 350 is probably my favorite design, but the 330s look good too.

So what’s this growth on top? Is it for the inflight wi-fi or the raft in case of water landings?

We call it a blister. I said that in front of a younger millennial and he laughed. What's so funny? I amuse you?

Yeah, they hide satellite comms under there, most likely DirecTV for the commercial jets or like you said, high speed interwebs.

Forgot to post this last Monday. Just before we backed away from the gate at ORD, this dude pulled up at the gate next to us.

Yeah...DAL using T5 at ORD is a gong show.

Not many 74’s hauling pax anymore. The last one just rolled off the line at Boeing. A freighter. Same with the A380. Those had a short life span.

I used to spend hours at ORD as a kid (80’s) waiting for my dad to pull up to the gate (United 767/737/727/DC-10/DC-8 Pilot). Loved watching all the planes coming and going. What was even cooler was getting to go into the ATC and Tower to watch them from up high (guy from church worked for the ATC). Good times.

I miss the observation tower (old ground control, I think?) and the fancy for a kid Seven Continents restaurant In the late 60s and early 70s.
