If felt like a 6 year old, all wonderstruck and wanting to be a police man, helicopter pilot, astronaut, firefighter...

That is pretty good stuff. I like that there is an always something to learn in aviation. Between this and shooting I should be turning money into noise for the rest of my life.

A friend of mine does search and rescue in SW Montana. They had a severely injured ice climber on a ledge in darkness, and struck out with local resources. They called Two Bear and they came down from Kalispell, crossing the Continental Divide at night in the winter, and arrived in the mountains near Bozeman. Lowered a paramedic to stabilize and hoisted the climber into the 429 and transported him to the hospital. No charge for all that!

I assume their brass balls clank together when they walk.

Two Bear has the benefit of a generous benefactor, an awesome machine in the 429, and an experienced team that does a lot of hoist training.
