A physician in Talkeetna bought a Super Cub that I used to own. She crashed and landed in a tree, shimmied down the tree, realized the engine was still running, and shimmied up the tree again to shut down the engine. Is it a crash if it never impacts the ground?
For many years Avemco used a picture of that plane in the tree in their advertisements.

Never heard this term before.
My dad was a member of Martin Bakers Ejection Tie Pin Club. I have his paperwork but no tie pin. I reached out to them, provided some ID stuff, and they sent me their new thing, an actual MB tie.

At some point it would be nice to buy their special edition Bremont watch, but can't see that happening for a long time.
One blurb stated that the pilot was ok and under observation.
