Beretta seems to be making a big marketing push/come-back in popularity. So, maybe Beretta is taking the SIG approach with a variety of models? They've always had limited runs, but to my eyes it appears the market can bare more than the limited runs of non-plain M9 or 92s they make.
Now, the thing in the box... maybe an American introduction of the Combat*? Sig has the P226 SAO and I could see the Stock competing with it. Or, based on the can, more likely whatever their MHS entrant is.
*Pure speculation based on Beretta seemingly listening to consumer demand.
Latest teaser pic. I'm not too worked up over this. If it's just an M9 with multicam-ish dip, that won't interest me.
I think I just threw up a little in my mouth. And then Beretta painted a gun to look like it.
That looks like a Vertec grip panel by the different textures on it. Maybe an MulitCam M9A3?

Diamond plate is next. You heard it here first.

Elite Dark Scorpion Combat Model!!!! Explosions! Lens flare! Being too cool to look at the explosions!
Well, at least I'll only need to be saving for a WC Beretta then....
