    M&P Slide Kits

Anybody else see this? Just saw a mention in American Handgunner, so if it is in print maybe I am late to the party but it is interesting. Not in love with the porting but I have sorta wanted to try an M&P 5", and I have sorta wanted to experiment with an RMR, and I even sorta want to experiment with suppressor height sights, but I for damn sure do not need another M&P, especially one that nearly $700. But these seem to be posted for prices of $340-$370, though nobody seems to have them yet.

Will be nice to experiment with something that can be easily mail ordered and sold if I don't end up wanting it.

What does that mean? What is the difference in the slide?

As far as I can tell, the only difference is whether or not the slide says "capable of firing with magazine removed." Yes, there is a whole different SKU for that.

I have a 4.25" one that I just started running in USPSA Carry Optics, with a non-ported barrel. Best price I could find was from here:

Of course! That is exactly what they meant.
