What you do right before you know you're going to be in a use of force incident, often determines the outcome of that use of force.
I voted choice 2 simply because I have to use strong side OWB security holsters on duty and for SWAT. So they obviously get used and trained with. I also use them for competition.
Off duty I carry aiwb 99.9% of the time. JMCK AIWB rig.

1) Appendix exclusively*
Holster: Keeper
*When I teach the drawstroke and some positional shooting in classes, I have to put on a strong side holster (Blade-Tech OWB) during the demo. Then it comes right off as soon as the demo is over.

Glock 19 in a Keeper
S&W 638 in Galco Stow-N-Go for PT gear.
*While in a holster and on my person.
That said, there are times that I am restricted by an event, business, or clothing requirements to the point where I can't even get away with carrying the J-frame on my person, at a minimum. i.e. work, beach/pool, participating in organized sporting events. I tried to golf while carrying the J-frame once, ONCE. The pistol ends up in a bag of some sort, appropriate for the event. Due to the frequency of this, work being the dominant factor, I'm going to vote for number 2 even though I only carry AIWB when holstered on my person and all training is done in that regard which I believe to be what the poll is set up to show. I think there are too many variables to make this poll black or white, but that's my answer as viewed by my interpretation of the choices.
Example of carry at work...

AIWB 90+% of the time, most commonly with a JM custom extra tuck or a Frick Seraphim with a wedge.

Sorry G but poll is flawed.
I voted yes because the only time I change from appendix is when the rules of a gun game require it, not by choice. I carry and train from appendix.
-Seconds Count. Misses Don't-
Carry and compete with a JMCK aiwb w/ extra tuck.
#2/No
Concealed carry about 50/50 between modes
AIWB - VG2 and JM Custom
IWB - FIST #1 Kydex
