Yeah. I've been looking online at grip options. Lett went out of business a few years ago. I have a 4" GP I bought in the late 80s. Ruger does still sell a grip like the older ones, I might try that.

I have an '89 vintage GP100. I sent it in to Ruger a couple years ago and they noticed the grip panels were cracked so they gave me a brand new set of the Wiley Clapp grips, basically a fancy Lett style and the texture adds a bit more traction. They also let you get a little higher on the gun than the Houge grip.

S&W 24-3 .44 Special cut to 5". Gun was one of several nice older Smiths which came into my local Cabelas as part of an estate.
The gun had endfloat which caused the cylinder to bind when loaded. It has now been repaired. The target below is the first six rounds of Blackhills 210 grain SWC double action at 15 yards.
