With the usual cell-phone camera disclaimer. Not sure what year; but the firing pin is attached to the hammer. I still have the walnut handle saved. (S&W 66)

Those are really nice, and the Super Vel box is an excellent touch. What grain Super Vel's are those? 110's?
I keep going back and re-looking at it. Does the Python barrel resist the forcing cone cracking that Model 19's otherwise sometimes had? If so, S&W ought to buy Colt, have their custom shop make those things new (with a good action job) and re-invigorate the high-end revolver market. It's not only a beautiful gun, it is a great idea.
Just a Hairy Special Snowflake supply clerk with no field experience, shooting an Asymetric carbine as a Try Hard. Snarky and easily butt hurt. Favorite animal is the Cape Buffalo....likely indicative of a personality disorder.

I agree. No soul. Like plastic guns (and I like the utility of plastic guns). I've been looking at a 686 3" pistol but just can't pull the trigger (no pun intended). Not only is there a lock, but there is something about blued guns that stainless just doesn't capture.
A blue K frame magnum with a better barrel/forcing cone is such a great idea.
