    Hey there,

New to the forum and figured what better way to introduce myself than post some vids.

I just finished completing my black badge a couple months ago and shot my first 2 qualifier matches.

    First match:

    Second Match:

Obviously I have a lot to work on and learn but its been fun so far.

Finally got the Bianchi Cup logo so it was time to publish my video from the match. So here is what it is like to shoot the Bianchi Cup without the stress of random people watching and judging you as you shoot:

And yes during my first string at 10 yards I did the exact same thing Caleb did. When I saw his GIF on his website I knew the disappointment of that plate staring at you on your first string.

After a bumpy start jumping back into shooting IPSC regularly, I feel like I'm starting to get some of my old mojo back. From a local match last month, this is one of those stages where things click and you say hell yeah when you're done.

Here's the match I shot at the Paul Bunyan Rifle Club in Washington state yesterday. Great day to be out shooting. Can't say so for my accuracy.

Just got my 686 SSR back after having it cut for moon clips. This is the first match I shot it in since.

I'll let you decide which one was ugly and which one was bad! LOL

Great Match!! Awesome to see all the volunteers coming together to help. Had a great time except for the first stage where I busted up my knee coz I forgot to put on my kneepads. If you're in the area and want to help or participate, checkout http://www.rentonuspsa.org/forums

I can sum up my performance (or lack of) due to one thing. Lack of confidence. We started on Stage 4, and after getting a miss on two consecutive stages, I lost all confidence in my shooting ability and slowed down unnecessarily hoping to get my hits. My overall time was 2-3 seconds slower than all the other Masters in the match. I should have shaken the feeling off and shot the match like I could have.

Every stage after the first two, I thought too much about getting my hits and stressed over it. I have to learn how to let go. That and getting a total of four misses and two no-shoots (on the last stage), didn't do well for my placement.

That said, Keith Tyler and gang put up a fantastic match in a gorgeous range. Every bay has it's own covered area where we can relax in the sun and hydrate. Also, thanks to Omar Newbury and Larry Watson for running the squad through all the stages.
