Top one started out life as a 4 in Model 64... It got a double action trigger job, semi bobbed hammer spur, trigger shoe rounded and polished, barrel cut down to 3 inches, recessed target crown, slab sided barrel and restamp, gold bead/ U notch sights set for 158 gr @ 15 yards, Round butt cut, and Ceracoat.

Bottom revolver started out as a two inch 64-2 and had a really good action so I just added the same sights.

Just got done with their first range trip since return, yeah... it was worth it.

The 4” 64 I shot at the Revolver Roundup a couple of years back almost got left there to get turned into something like the 3” one. That’s a great looking gun!

Maybe one day, I’ll have it done.

Damn, and I just happen to have a 64-2 2in a buddy gifted me...

Do you know more about the sight they use? It would be great to maybe cut for something Dawson, that I could get in fiber optic I can actually see, that might be available in various heights. I did the glue on XS to a couple and the dovetail front sight looks like something I could pull off, looks like a good retirement project (305 days to go...).

That 3” speaks to me. You’re a man of good taste.

I am 99.9 percent sure that these are the ones that they used on both guns. I also have a 3in 65 that I had previously done up at Finks with the same sight set but instead of a gold bead it has a green fiber front.
