Let's talk about the AUG.

My first post. You'd think I would have discovered this place before now, but it was a link on Lightfighter.net regarding the possibility of a class that brought me here. Full disclaimer, these guys are friends of mine, but they make some good stuff for the AUG and they'll be at SHOT. Including the shooter in this video. Whether he or they would be available for the class is iffy, but certainly a class on either side of the SHOT Show would probably be more doable.



I don't have an AUG myself, but I do have an MSAR Stg556 that I bought when I could afford it, but couldn't get an AUG. Some of their stuff fits the Stg556 too.

The Steyr 42 round mags won’t drop free but I can flick them out when I press the mag release with the new mag. I’ve had several occasions when trying this (what I’m calling the AK reload) where the new mag hangs the old mag up and won’t let it fall free.

I noticed the same thing. Just now I saw the catch on the back of the 42rd mags was wider. Enough that I could tell with the naked eye. This is with 5 of the 30rd and 2 of the 42rd.

There was a limited edition orange stock AUG posted earlier in the thread. It was $3200ish if I remember correctly.

The correct term is “Group Standard”; it is not a “cult” . As for infantry not being able to count; I to fall in that group. That is why belt fed is our favored weapon. 6-9 round burst; you don’t have to count, just think die motherfucker die; and kill them all
