Nope - I still haven’t found a long gun range here in TX. I’m hoping to resolve that before too much longer, but the 100+ degree temps have kept me in. I may take it up to the indoor range just to test, but I have to find one of the boxes with something other than green tip.

Yeah, yesterday afternoon I took one of my hunting rifles that I had just gotten a new suppressor for out to do some load testing. The heat index was 115. After about 30 minutes I was a pile of sweat.

Thank you - I checked twice earlier today and the rear QD was out of stock. I found the GHW Flex already, so that was the last piece I needed.

Thanks - I have a bunch of Magpuls but would like more Steyrs. I’ve seen them on GB but automatically assumed (correctly) they were high. I think Steyr is $30 direct.

the only bad thing is shipping is expensive (usually 15 bucks)

Any thoughts on the switch from chrome-lined to nitride barrels about two years ago? Though supposedly still cold-hammer forged from what I'm reading.

I just installed a Pup Light mount with Streamlight Protac HL-X, and agree, it’s a very ergonomic setup.

For those who have used them for a while, any issues with heat buildup?
