Sounds like the way to go, but I'm wanting the NATO blk version.

I also saw/heard a new Aug version was coming out, worth the wait?

Fwiw I think the PSA bundle is not the nato version, steyr has special black magazines for 300 blk that work with the regular waffle mag well.

I haven't paid too much attention to the new aug other than having the video on in the background while I was doing something else. From what I remember the top rail looked nice, but I'd want to make sure I could still access the gas block for suppressed shooting and didn't lose the quick change barrel option (they might have addressed this in the james reeves video but I wasn't paying super close attention)

I would like to get it but would rather have a shorter .223 barrel, you think it would be hard to work out a trade with someone or just sell it maybe? Not sure how much a .223 16" barrel would cost.

Shouldn't be too hard to find someone on the various forums that would want to trade or buy it outright. MGW has 16" barrels for $525 ($498 if you qualify for their Mil/First Responder discount)
